This painting was inspired by a small patch of wildflowers I recently grew in our backyard, which unfortunately did not fare well in the Leeward Oahu heat. You can enjoy wildflowers for much longer in a painting! It is always a joy to mix yellows and pinks to create variations of peach hues for flowers.
